The Future Is Almost Here, just not quite yet!

Keeping An Eye On What's New For Staying Independent As We Age.

Take a listen to what this company has come up with albeit not available yet.

I don’t know maybe I ‘m just ahead of my time, but it wish technology would hurry up!  If you are a frequent visitor to this site, which I hope you are, you know what our goal is to help you to get the knowledge, and find the tools and resources to remain in your own home as you age.  Here is a bit more about the emerging technology show in the previous video…..

Our Mission is to help extend the independence of our aging population!

As I continue to research and look for tools to help us do that I find many, many things that are almost available but not quite yet.  As the world just seems to be catching on the fact the that over 60 population is growing fast than the younger generation in numbers, we’ve known it for years.   So one would think that the technology should already be available to help us take care of ourselves.  I have watched, listen to and seen so much on what the tech companies are working on one would think by now we could just order some device, set it up, and we be on our way.

But, uhh no, not yet.  Perhaps it is the commerce side that is lagging. Perhaps they haven’t yet made it affordable for the masses (that would us – masses of old people) so they don’t have the incentive to go beyond their prototypes.

If so then I would say, something you don’t hear us seniors saying very often.  HURRY UP! TIMES A WASTING AND WE ARE WAITING!

These are not the real deal when it comes to helping us stay independent, they will certainly help as we wait for technology to catch up.
